Normal

So very sorry that I (we) have not been writing much! But, I will now change that! I have been inspired by Bre's blog, and how faithful she is in writing. I also just watched ''Julie&Julia'' on Friday. It's about cooking and blogging. Made me fell very guilty. There just isn't much going on here that's of any significance. Well, Anna is awesome. That's something. School is okay, just about as good as school can get really. Christmas is coming up! That's an annual thing, I think.;) Ohh, wait, I had a birthday! That was great! Partly because I got FaceBook. And I enjoyed decorating my cake. I got some awesome presents too! But it seems as though September was ages ago! It's amazing how fast time flies! Ah well, that's life for ya, how ever scary it may be;) Elena :)

The best 50 euros Elena ever spent

On Monday, I got to parapente (go paragliding). We were staying with our friends, Patrick and Marie-Françoise, near Annecy, in France where there are many people doing parapente. Papa, Marie Françoise and I decided to go. It was so super! Wonderful! Great! COOL! It costs quite a lot of money so Mama and Papa said that if I wanted to go, I had to pay some as well. It was the best 50 euros I've ever spent! ~Elena

Birthday in Germany

Sydney celebrated her 7th birthday in Germany this year. Of course she had breakfast in bed, along with Opa who kept her company.

And, she got to have a special song played just for her on the radio. She had to finish breakfast in the living room so she and Oma could listen out for Sydney's name to be read out and her song played.

Birthdays

Autumn is birthday time at our house. Elena's (the 23rd of Sept) is often the first day of fall, Fiona's is in the middle (1st of Nov) and Sydney's is either the last day of fall (23rd of Dec.)or first one of winter. We've celebrated 2 of them so far this year. Elena turned 12 and Fiona celebrated her first double digit b-day! As seems to be usual for us, we ended up celebrating more than once--for various reasons.

It is really hard to post more than 1 photo so I'll stop for today and post Fiona's later.

Life from Sydney's point of view

If you give a 6 year old a camera in a Chinese restaurant(especially when she's bored), she'll take photos of the things that tickle her fancy...
