Capitan Hairbrush

Ahoy,

On Thursday I (Elena) was a pirate called, Capitan Hairbrush. Well, every Thurs. we have a Bible study in English. So we (all the kids and the Capitan) had a good time. Capitan Hairbrush showed them how to make paper-boats. And everyone (even me) liked his/her accent.

Giddy-up

"This is Sydney. Guess what, we went to this park and I got to ride a horse! I didn't get to ride all by myself. But when we took pictures, I got to sit on it by myself. Did you know it was my first time to ride a horse?"

On the way home, she said, "What if the horses loved me so much that they followed me home?"

Now it's Fiona's turn: "'Yee-haw', yesterday we got tot ride horses! It was awesome!! But they only had white and brown horses. I really like a Paint horse. I wish I had a horse."

Most of the way home, the 2 girls were talking about how many things they were going to bring with them next time that they were sure the horses would love to eat: carrots, apples and sugar cubes--even popcorn.

What's New Here

Since the girls haven't written anything for a while, they will all get together to have their say. They aren't terribly verbose right now, but at least they all have something to say.

Fiona wants to say, "I got a drum because I'm learning to play drums." She also says, "Christmas was GREAT 'cause we had a lot of visitors!"

Sydney says, "We're going to get Helga from Ghana!" "Can you believe that I'm six?"

Elena can't think of anything to say just now. She wants to write next Friday because she's supposed to help the teacher at our Thursday evening Bible study the night before, and wants to tell all about it.
